Dragonborn

The dragonborn arrived on Komovarad as servants of the dragons, who the majority of dragonborn worship as gods. Expert sailors, the dragonborn gave the draconic armies mobility across the great seas, as well as muscle. However, not all dragonborn were content with their place in the world. Once the native races on Komovarad fled, some dragonborn, sickened by the actions of the dragons, rebelled, escaping to the eastern horizon.

Ships of dragonborn arrived at the shores of Sil’ela near the burgeoning Port Cabral. Their attempts to make landfall were thwarted by the citizens, who saw them more as invaders than pilgrims. They refused to allow the dragonborn on their soil. While a small contingent of dragonborn sailed on, the majority, fearing a similar welcome elsewhere, lashed their ships together, creating the flotilla city Watershead. In just a few years, Watershead grew to dwarf Port Cabral.

Dragonborn hold no ill-will toward any races on Sil’ela. While some were unhappy at their initial reception, many accepted it as punishment for their actions as slaves to the dragons. In fact, many dragonborn took up the customs and beliefs of their neighbors. Dragonborn that choose to leave Watershead often seek the frontier, where armed uprising against them is unlikely.
